DAST or WAF…Which Is Better?

Which is better, a DAST or a WAF?

DAST, standing for Dynamic Application Security Testing, looks at your running application from the outside in, simulating how an attacker or pentester would interact with your application. WAF, which stands for Web Application Firewall, protects web applications by filtering, monitoring, and blocking any malicious HTTP or HTTPS traffic going to your web application, and also prevents non-authorized data from leaving the app.

Both DAST and WAF are important to the security of your applications, but, oftentimes one is favored over the other.

Join us in this free webinar to dive into DAST and WAF in-depth; and learn how they can compliment each other!
